REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE

1- If the handset is plugged to the radio, it must be removed.
2- A visual inspection should be performed to check for any cracks or damage.
3- Use a utility knife to lift the old and worn VHF 3000 Handset from a corner, then peel it off by hand.
4- If possible, remove all remaining adhesive. If it cannot be removed, you may leave it as is.
5- Remove the protective adhesive backing from the new CU1000P Keypad Panel.
6- Carefully stick the keypad in place in one go, and gently press across the entire surface to ensure full adhesion.
