CORD CABLE REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE
As shown in the example of the Simrad R82 in the photo below, the old cable connector is removed and the inside of the grommet is cleared. Then, the connector-free end of the cable we sent you is passed through the grommet. Once the cord cable has been passed through the grommet and positioned in the S-shaped channel.
The six individual wires at the exposed end must be inserted into the connector in the same arrangement as shown in the image below.
The pins at the end of each wire will already be prepared for you. All you need to do is push the wires into the connector. You will hear a click and feel each wire lock into place.
Finally, reinstall the connector as shown in the image and close the handset.
